Just like your smartphone accesses an “app store” to add new applications, your Roku streaming player or Roku TV™ accesses the Roku Channel Store to add new channels. Browse the Roku Channel Store directly from your Roku device, or by visiting channelstore.roku.com. Channels can also be added when using the Roku mobile app on a compatible mobile device.
When you add a channel to your Roku device, you are actually adding it to your Roku account. As a result, the channel will automatically be added to all Roku devices linked to your Roku account. When you remove a channel, the same is true. It will be removed from all Roku devices linked to your Roku account.
Adding channels from your Roku device
- Press Home on your Roku remote
- Scroll and select Streaming Channels to open the Channel Store
At the top of the Channel Store is a list of featured, new and popular categories to explore. You can enter a keyword in Search Channels to find choices based on the title of a channel. Below that are a variety of genres to browse.

Scroll and select Search Channels.

In the Search field, type in the word “Malimar”.

The search results will then show “Malimar TV”, press OK on your remote.

7. When you want to learn more about a channel, press OK on your remote to open the details. In addition to a synopsis and rating, you can preview screenshots of the channel.
8. Since the channel is “free” to install, you can select Add Channel to install our channel to your Roku streaming device.
If you are installing a channel to your Roku device, it will be added to the list of channels under Home on the main screen. Scroll down, it will have been added to the bottom of the list of channels. If you prefer, the channel can be moved higher in the list.
